Gary Weeks and Dave Beckett as live performers were hilarious with a song and comedy act that helped ensure their success. Their fourth single, “Could You Ever Love Me Again” reached number one on the Top 100 in November 1973 as their album and single charted across Canada & US supported by their first cross-Canada tour opening for The Stampeders.
“It Might As Well Rain Until September“, “All In The Past Now“, “I Can’t Find The Words” and “I May Never See You Again” are featured single hits from this second album (re-issued here as ‘Forever‘). Engineered by Terry Brown and produced by Greg Hambleton at Toronto Sound Studios, there were many musicians contributing to Gary And Dave’s success including Paul Clinch, Peter Goodale, Malcolm Tomlinson, Stan Theriault, Dwayne Ford and members of the TSO.
